message board restoration project

i'm trying to restore the message board to its original minimalist glory. it takes a while because there are limited resources available.

too bad php versions need to go unsupported... instead of the nice phorum 3.0 we're stuck with phorum 5.0 that's a bit more complicated than needed. there was also spam issues, in case you wonder why some sites can still go on running the unsupported phorum 3.o without problems.

i kind of like this new setup!

either way is good though.

dunno, i have a few issues with the new layout... at least there's a shitload of needless underlining going on... still waiting for that extra free day to put this shit together. should update rest of the site while i'm at it (just some text changes, nothing radical coming up)
